|Abstract: ||The aim of the project was to create a modern Broadway themed coffee café in the Swansea City Centre that provides a good social environment and atmosphere for customers. The idea arose through the author having an interest in the coffee culture in Swansea and different Broadway productions. The author believes there is a need for a new and modern coffee café in Swansea, which can allow for both relaxation and an enhancement in customer’s experiences through the means of a stylish theme.
There were many different objectives tied to this Enterprise Project which were to compile a literature review, conduct primary and secondary research, research different legislation, develop a business plan and carry out a conclusion and make recommendations.
A business plan was compiled to illustrate the different aspects and facilities of the business, which was completed through the methods of primary and secondary research. This was done through researching competitors, obtaining completed questionnaires, interviews, S.W.O.T. and P.E.S.T. analysis as well as reviewing literature in the form of journals, books and the internet.
Research showed there was a gap in the market, for a themed coffee café within Swansea, as there is no other coffee distributor using a theme. The coffee product has a good demand level from different customer profiles as well as there being a good demand rate for the coffee culture in Swansea. Research also allowed the justification for the business idea, as it was concluded that 80% of respondents would consider going to a themed coffee café.|
