Abstract
FATİH Project is the most important reform implemented in our country in order to realize technology integration. Looking at the literature, it is seen that there are not sufficient studies in Turkey explaining the use of interactive whiteboards. The purpose of this study is to explain the teachers' acceptance and use of interactive whiteboards and to determine their effects on interactive whiteboard usage skills. In the study, cause-effect relationship was established between variables and was designed in causal model. Study group of research consists of 305 teachers working in primary, secondary and high schools. Data of research were collected with two scales: Interactive Whiteboard Transition Frame Scale and Interactive Whiteboard Acceptance and Use Scale. As result of research, opinions of teachers do not differ according to educational level; significant differences were found in favor of male teachers in subscales of facilitating conditions, operating system, file management and program variables. Negative correlations were found between acceptance and use of interactive whiteboard; interactive whiteboard usage skills and seniority of teachers. Also, it was found that teachers' adoption and use of interactive whiteboards have an impact on their usage skills. According to these results, it is important to develop positive attitudes and beliefs towards using interactive whiteboards.
