Description
Keith Harrison's exhibition piece at the RCA. The film is a record of an experimental firing using electrical cooker elements embedded in egyptian paste to fire a stack of egyptian paste. The film was obtained when Jeffrey Jones went to interview Harrison at the RCA on 16/01/02 as part of research for his paper "Singing the Body Electric: A Brief History of Electricity and Studio Ceramics", which he presented at the conference "Situated Knowledges: Consumption, Production and Identity in a Global Context", Design History Society, University of Wales, Aberystwyth, 3 - 5 September, 2002.
