dc.description.abstract | This study aims to investigate the impacts of the current global financial crisis on the automobile retail industry with a focus on Bulgaria. The research utilizes secondary research methods, such as descriptive and historical research, in order to gather statistical information on the levels of automobile sales in Bulgaria and around the world. Primary research methods have also been employed, i.e. questionnaires distributed to representatives of official car dealerships in Bulgaria, in order to collect information about the impacts of the financial crisis on the number of car sales, types of sales and staff motivation. The study analyzed the data through correlation and regression analysis with the purpose of illustrating trends and relationships between the indicators to measure the extent of the impacts. It also investigated the relationship between automobile sales and automobile production globally. Finally, the dissertation provides conclusions and recommendations for the automobile retail industry in Bulgaria. | en_GB |
