Using Light as a Branding and Design Tool

As the title suggests, this research project examines how light can be incorporated into a brand or a product and how light assists in communicating the brand or product in today’s fast changing market. Through literature survey and a conducted research, the assignment shows light designs of many different landscape architectures, buildings and a variety of products, and proves the contribution of light effects in establishing a relationship between a brand and customers. The project is focused around the idea that through light branding, a product or a brand can gain recognition. With this intention, the research project is to find out the possibility of using light as a branding and design tool.
