This enterprise project maps the feasibility study of developing a small-scale, luxury boutique hotel in Old Portsmouth, Hampshire. The main aim of establishing this business is to develop and operate an innovative and original luxury boutique hotel that consistently strives to earn a reputation which precedes itself, places extreme importance on the details and offers unparalleled customer service. This project aims to offer a comprehensive account of the processes involved in completing each stage of the business start-up development from an analytical and detailed perspective. The overall objective of the project is to follow the progression of a new business venture within the boutique hotel sector of the domestic hospitality industry, through reviewing academic literature, developing an effective marketing strategy, sourcing adequate funds and covering all aspects of business legislation. The project will conclude on the potential of the business venture and its feasibility in terms of profitability, market value and its viability as a long-term, successful brand.
