The enterprise project was undertaking in order to see whether an events organisation which provides additional funding for disabled charities within the UK would be feasible. The objectives of the enterprise project were to: • Undertake a literature review looking at relevant literature for secondary research purpose • To conduct a competitor analysis • To produce market research to choose events the organisation would hold • To produce an in-depth business plan and evaluate the viability The objectives were achieved by researching into the current business climate and current issues businesses are facing. The author also looked at relevant models which could be used as a guide line for an events manager. The author achieved the objectives by conducting questionnaires to find out exactly what the target audience wanted. The conclusion of the project shows that Emblem Events was a viable enterprise that would be able to provide additional funding to disabled charities and still make a profit.
