Re-negotiating the self through educational development: mature students' experiences
MetadataShow full item record
This paper presents a model for mapping the relationship between academic growth and personal growth in mature student populations, based on an experiential framework. The research was presented at the Brisitsh Psychological Society's Social Psychology Annual conference in 2005 and the Community University of the Valleys Partenership international conference in 2005. This shows how a psychological framework can be utilised to aid an understanding of issues within a higher education setting, thus offering research that can span and have applications for both disciplines.
