dc.description.abstractThe aim of this dissertation was to argue that coaches ought to play a role in preventing doping in sport. The dissertation was divided into three chapters, with chapter one discussing what a good coach is, chapter two discussing why coaches should seek to prevent and stop doping in sport, and chapter three discussing how coaches can stop doping occurring in sport. It was established that coaches do have a role to play in stopping doping when it occurs in sport and also have a role to play in preventing doping from occurring in the first place.
