The aim of this enterprise project is to evaluate the feasibility of setting up a 'Football Golf' skill development kit business in Cardiff. Football Golf is a new and exciting football skill development proposal which offers children, young people and adults the combination of footballing skills with target golf; the same format as golf but uses footballs in place of golf balls. Football Golf is a proposed business product primarily concerned with being a skill development aid for children and young people, to enhance their football skills, have fun and keep active. Football Golf is a form of non-contact football suitable for boys and girls, which can be played outside and indoors. The game is simply adapted to the particular environment in terms of time available and numbers playing. In the booklet included with the kit, there are a suggested number of game/hole formats that can be adapted as necessary. Academic literature will be firstly analysed that surrounds the leisure industry within the UK. The business plan is the most detailed part of the project, providing information on the product, market research, market and marketing, financial forecasts and many other areas of importance to business start-up. SWOT and PEST analysis were used in addition to measure the external environment of the business. The business plan will be followed by the analysis and discussion section. A critical evaluation of the decisions, actions and process involved in the compilation of the business plan and the business idea will address the feasibility of the product. A conclusion summarises whether or not the project has been successful in its objectives.
