This Enterprise Project will investigate the feasibility of opening a Tour Operator targeted at the over 50's in the Cardiff area and conclude if the business proposal is feasible. Objectives that have been discovered and investigated include; a detailed literature review and other factors surrounding the business idea, research into the intended target market and their current spending and holiday trend also an investigation into competition of the business proposal and current services. Furthermore discovery of promotional techniques, financial issues and a complete list of services where created to make the business proposal sustainable. An analysis and discussion of the discovered outcomes of the business proposal were noted. Which included an overview of every section within the business plan and how that the conclusion of these sections paid tribute to the overall successfulness of the business. Finally a conclusion into the business was made. The conclusion was that the business proposal was sustainable but some recommendations would be made to enhance the performance of the company. Firstly more market research would need to be carried out due to only a small number of the target market being asked. For the businesses to be successful all over Cardiff a larger number of participants would have to be contacted. Progressing from this recommendation the data found from the increased amount of market research would inevitably change the financial outcomes for the business. In theory this increase would increase the profit of the business.
