The aim of the project was to conduct a study into the feasibility of setting up an event photography business based in Cardiff. The business will specialise in wedding and nightclub photography during the first 3 years. The project has 5 main objectives, ensuring every element of the business was outlined. The proprietor conducted thorough research in order to gain knowledge of current trends surrounding the industry of the proposed business project. This included the evaluation of the following; • Compressive literature review • Primary research • Business operations • Marketing strategy • Competitor analysis • Financial forecasts • Legal obligations Findings aided the proprietor’s decision making process. This enterprise project provides readers with an insight into the event photography industry and small business start-up. All the information required in relation to starting an event photography business is provided within this project.
