The Enterprise Project conducted focuses on the setting-up of a bridal shop retail business; this will be called Lucy Anne Bridal Boutique Ltd. The main aim of the project is to compile a feasibility study including all applicable details in relation to establishing a bridal shop in the South West of England.
This will include a series of sections to discover and analyse the processes involved and the overall plausibility of creating a new business. The first section is the introduction, discussing the subject matter and the delivery of the project. This is followed by the literature review; this is a collection of sources which deliver a secondary research source to any written information that is available in relation to the business chosen.
The main section for this project is the business plan. This is broken down into nine clear sections to explain and critique the way the shop will run whilst reviewing the primary research methods undertaken. For this particular business the desired methods were questionnaires for potential brides as well as individual semi-structured interviews from owners of existing bridal shops. The two processes showed invaluable outcomes which helped the author make key decisions. This section also outlined the financial forecasts

involved in the business as well as SWOT analysis and the PESTEL technique, all helping to gather an overall picture of the desired business.
This led on to the analysis section where the findings are fully discussed and considered. This also includes whether the project is feasible as a business and how the author came to the decisions chosen. Finally, the conclusion draws an end to the project and evaluates the success in relation to the overall aims and objectives set initially.
