The aim of the project is to evaluate the feasibility of setting up a home based wedding planning business based in West Oxfordshire. The project seeks to analyse the current literature available on the wedding planning industry as part of the literature review. It also contains information from government websites such as statistics on marriages in England and Wales and the population of Oxfordshire. Following the literature review is the executive summary which summarises every aspect of the business plan. The project then goes on to the business plan which looks at the different aspects of starting a new business such as market research, finance, management and personnel, products and services and future recommendations. As part of the business plan, a SWOT and PESTEL analysis look at the internal and external environment which will have an effect on the business. Future developments are discussed which looks at where the business can go in the future. The next stage of the project is the analysis and discussion, which evaluates the processes and decisions in the business plan and discusses whether the business would be successful. Finally, the conclusion will discuss whether the aims and objectives of the project have been met. Recommendations will also be given as to how the business can be moved forward.
