Abstract
The levels of obesity amongst children and adolescents in the UK have become a major cause for concern amongst health and exercise professionals in recent years. In this paper we examined the dietary habits of 165 children who were drawn from two Welsh secondary schools. The findings have implications for those working in Physical Education and in Personal and Social Development in schools, as well as others in the health, education and exercise professions. Cooper designed the data analysis aspects of the study, he conducted the data analysis and he helped edited the manuscript.
