I would like to take this opportunity to thank my dissertation supervisor Dr Mark Connolly for his guidance and encouragement throughout this project. I feel that his support has strengthened the development of both my academic and professional skills. I’d also like to thank my other lecturers, who have supported my personal development, inspiring me to pursue my future career in teaching. Additionally I would like to thank the participants in my dissertation, without which this would never have been possible. Finally I would like to thank my friends and family for their patience and reassurance throughout my course; without which I would not have persevered through the challenges I have faced.
