The aim of this project is to launch and operate a luxury Boutique hotel in Cowbridge for a range of guests. In order to achieve this, several objectives have been created and then evaluated through a number of forms of research, both primary and secondary. This has enabled the author to discover the feasibility of the project and business plan. These objectives include: • Identify the niche in the market for this enterprise, focusing on the needs and wants of a target market for the development; • Research a specific location and property to convert within Cowbridge or the close surrounding area; • Research potential competitors for this enterprise, undertake a SWOT analysis and develop a project appropriate for the niche; • Devise a marketing strategy for the business that reflects the initial concept, aim and objectives; and • Complete a business plan including the full cash flow and profit and loss account forecasts for the next three years. The project includes a full three year financial forecast, marketing and selling strategy as well as a complete market survey. The competitors were fully identified and evaluated, a business plan highlighting the actual business structure and the project concludes with a discussion and recommendations.
