With the aims and objectives in place an evaluation can occur to see if there is success for the business. Research was conducted through both primary and secondary data such as questionnaires and competitor analysis of each potential threat to the business. The secondary research was performed through the use of internet sites, journals and textbooks. The SWOT and PEST analysis was beneficial to the business as it showed the business what factors they needed to address when opening the online business Have Your Cake. In particular the threats such as competitors and market entry barriers were addressed in the SWOT analysis. The use of competitor's strengths and weaknesses was also beneficial as Have Your Cake provides a unique experience that no other businesses with South Wales provide and from this analysis marketing strategies were able to be developed and a competitive price structure set in order to reduce competition and gain a large customer base.
