The main functionality of the prototype is appointment and patient management. Before the prototype can be developed, a System Review into the use of databases and existing systems which is currently available for Opticians. Reviewing a range of software methodologies and research techniques will be discussed to decide which approach is best suited towards the prototype. After identifying the system requirements a range of data process models can be created, followed by the development of the prototype. Testing, followed by evaluating the software and a conclusion of the project to discuss if the project was successful or not.
