Abstract
The aim of the enterprise project was to investigate the feasibility for setting up a specialist student recruitment company in South Wales. Firstly, it was essential to compile research on the current market situation. This was conducted through primary and secondary means and carried out by the author. Primary research was collated through a questionnaire, put together for students in South Wales. Secondary research was congregated from a variety of sourced including several books, journals, and market reports. Furthermore, a SWOT analysis of a potential student recruitment agency was made. All research transpires relevant information, consequently highlighting a visible gap in the market for a specialist student recruitment company to enter. A major part of the project was down to the business plan. The information provided was based on the results from well thought-out market research. The business venture has been carefully planned, with all information regarding the services on offer by the business, given. In addition financial forecast for the initial three years of business were formulated. They demonstrated that the capital invested, would produce good revenue. Throughout South Wales there are many recruitment agencies, however ones purely specialising in students are none existent. This shows there is likely to be a high demand for the provision due to the highly differentiated market the business will operate in. The final parts of the project were the discussion and conclusion sections. These analysed the results of the research, allowing the author to understand that the business was feasible and will be successful in its market.
