Cardiff is close to some major Rugby Clubs what attracts thousands of fans and spectators. Rugby is considered to be an integral part of the Welsh Heritage. Many of young welsh boys ambitions is to become a Welsh Rugby International, to get to this level it is recommended that they have an agent to help with all of their on and off the field requirements. From talking to friends at university who are semi/ professional rugby players I saw a niche in the market for a Sports Agency for up and coming Rugby Players that would be based in Cardiff. Throughout reading this project the reader will see the market research that was done to see if an agency would be successful if it opened as well as a detailed business plan that shows whether or not Future Sports Management would be feasible or not.
Future Sports Management will maximise their client's earnings and help them make the best decisions that will add value to their client's career. Future Sports Management will do this by being accessible, efficient, honest and easily approachable. Future Sports Management will be aiming to be the best Sports Agency in Cardiff and will make sure that all of the feedback that they get is positive.
FSM understands the needs of today's professional rugby player. They will guarantee the highest standards of integrity and loyalty to every one of their clients.
Some problems did arise throughout this project as the author found it hard to get all the questionnaires back at the same time, so the results section was not started when hoped but luckily the author managed to catch up on the time that was lost. The results that were gathered from the market research were very useful to the author as it showed that their is a potential target market. The competitor analysis was another key part of the business plan as it allowed FSM to see what they should offer to differ and become more attractive to potential clients than its competitors.
