Ha bar: An evaluation of the potential for a new bar in Haverfordwest

Abstract

This Enterprise Project evaluates the procedures and activities required in opening a flexible venue in the town of Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. The project involves assessing the feasibility and sustainability of the business venture comprising bar, restaurant and nightclub amenities. The main aim of this Enterprise Project is to achieve the completion of a successful business plan, with the intention to satisfy the local residents by providing them with a new and innovative bar. The structure of the project revolves around four main objectives: l. Relevant literature has been reviewed to establish the reasoning behind the concept that was chosen to explore, which also helped the author progress with the project. 2. Market trends and a competitive analysis were drawn from primary and secondary research. This enabled the author to gain a clearer understanding of how the industry operates. 3. The primary research conducted through questionnaires allowed the author to collect relevant and realistic information about the business's potential customers. 4. The results from the business plan proved an existing demand for a venue such as Ha Bar, as it would offer a different approach amongst the other competition in the town.
