As modern society drives forward at a remarkable rate, so have people's lives and their demands. Our fast-paced life style has opened up many new areas, including the increased demand for coffee, convenience food and entertainment. Rising concern on the population's health and the increase in individual dietary requirements has also generated a market that needs to be filled. Because of this, an idea has been generated to develop an establishment that that will incorporate all of the above factors and therefore essentially provide a business that will provide haven for all of society's needs.
To begin with is the clarification of the reasons behind the project with all the factors analysed before the business plan is constructed. The project looks into important elements such as market research to understand people's perceptions on a live music café, and to see if Exeter will accommodate a business of this kind. The author will also look the aspects that would directly affect the process of starting up a business, from obtaining the right financial streams, to ensuring that the customers gain knowledge of the business through appropriate marketing strategies. Competitors will also be considered and fully analysed to discover their own strategies and to ensure that this new business offers something new.
The project aims to provide an insight into developing a proposal to open a business, which will be on a similar scale to an entrepreneur. Discussing the feasibility of the business will be conducted throughout the project and in turn will complete the final proposed business plan.
