This enterprise project covers the proposal of creating a personalised football and rugby team-wear company supplying Cardiff and its surrounding area, trading as Shields-Sports.
Through using a range of both primary and secondary data sources the author has compelled a project that looks at every possible avenue in deciding whether the business idea is feasible. Prior to completing the business plan the author has identified a substantial amount of relevant supporting literature in both the introduction and the literature review. A detailed market research process has assisted in creating a full and comprehensive evaluation of the market place, providing the author with a firm base for completing a full business plan complete with three years of forecasted accounts.
The project as a whole aims to prove the feasibility of the business idea through using the current opinions and ideas of sport participants, along with a full evaluation of the market that, provides information on competitors, customers, and the proposed trading area. Following this information the author generated a product that was attractive, innovative, and that allowed for a full and comprehensive business plan to be completed.
Through the completion of a business plan, a discussion, conclusion, and recommendation the author found that the proposed business idea was both feasible and profitable.
