This manuscript investigated the relationships among coronary heart disease risk factors in 12-13 year olds thus providing knowledge in relation to intervention and preventive strategies that could help combat the onset of obesity and obesity related health problems among young people. Thomas contributed to the conception and design of the study, carried out the studies, analysed the data, and drafted the manuscript.
