Modem society has changed the way people live their lives. The ability to travel to the farthest ends of the earth, with the greatest of ease, has resulted in a change in the way young people look at and experience the world we live in. Traditional holidays and are beginning to give way to a different type of travel experience, where consumers can absorb and participant in the indigenous culture of the location. Due to this societal change an idea has been generated to develop a tour operators company which will incorporate these changes, and embrace modem technological methods in order to provide a business that can meet changing needs. The project was constructed against six main objectives to ensure every aspect of the business was considered. Market research was carried in order to gain a basic understand of the business environment and current social trends, which could then be correlated against primary research to articulate potential consumer's perceptions and desires for the business opportunity. To ensure a successful project the author took great care in research and analyses all aspects of the business, including; the business set-up process, competition and potential financial streams. Through this detailed research the author was able to make appropriate decisions in the design and marketing of the proposed company. The project concludes with the discussion and analysis of each area of the proposed business. The aims and objectives are used as a point of reference which the project's success can be measured, and clearly detail the potential for a successful business opportunity.
