FakeWood Festival is a fun, innovative tributes festival that shows a representation of Hollywood. Targeting predominantly families it offers a unique one day event, packed with a variety of entertainment. The festival gives families the chance to bond together in a beautiful location, with exclusive entertainment to keep all age groups occupied. FakeWood Festival will house some of the greatest tribute bands playing an eclectic mix of genres, with Hollywood look-a-likes, tribute dance acts, American diners, Hollywood Bouncy Castle, Face painters and the FakeWood Sign. With the festival set in a beautiful location in Knebworth House, Hertfordshire has provided a perfect location for this brand new festival. FakeWood Festival will offer a small, intimate, tributes festival for the local community to enjoy, the festival will also raise money for the local Noah Ark charity. A business plan will be developed to cover all areas of setting up FakeWood festival include the legal requirements, the competitors, sponsorship, volunteers and the target market. To understand all areas necessary primary and secondary research has been carried out to full understand the feasibility of running FakeWood Festival, this has included a questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire illustrate that the majority of families would attend this Festival. With a lot of potential risks at festivals, FakeWood Festival must understand all hazardous areas therefore a Health and Safety policy, environmental policy, contingency plans and risk assessments are included within the project. A SWOT Analysis has also been carried out to highlight the internal and external strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This has enabled the author to prepare a relevant business plan and establish future recommendations for the business.
