Bar Sol: An evaluation into the feasibility of setting up a tequila bar in Cardiff city centre

The author wanted to evaluate the feasibility of opening a tequila bar in Cardiff City Centre. This was chosen as the author has been a student in Cardiff for three years and enjoys the nighttife it has to offer, but feels there is a place in the market for a new, fresh and unique venue. The author feels his good personal knowledge of the current bar industry in Cardiff places him in a good position to undertake such a project. The project outlines the main requirements for opening a business such as financial and marketing issues. The many requirements have been researched thoroughly and a considerable amount of effort has been placed into the project to ensure a comprehensive business project was completed. The methods that will be used by the author will be primary research in the form of an online questionnaire, secondary research through text books, journals and online resources and a detailed literature review was conducted in order to obtain further knowledge about the bar industry. The primary research provided much invaluable information, mainly the target market and their desires. Many business contacts have been made in order to increase the respectability and eligibility of the financial forecasts and the project as a whole.
