Dizzy's Playhouse will form the business structure of a limited company which will provide children aged between 0-12 years with a clean and safe supervised indoor play environment. The aim of this enterprise project is to evaluate the feasibility and requirements for setting up and running a new indoor soft play centre for children in Southampton, United Kingdom. The project objectives are as follows: • Critically analyse and review available literature surrounding the project idea. • Undertake primary and secondary research to identify possible competitors and customers. • Analyse and evaluate the business using SWOT and PEST analysis techniques. • Investigate the legal and staffing requirements for this business venture. • Conduct a coherent business plan to support the business idea. • Gather all research results and conclude the project with recommendations for further steps to set up the business. In this project, primary research was used in order to identify the demand for this type of service in Southampton. The results concluded that parents welcomed the idea of a new indoor play centre. Other play centres already have popularity therefore they were interested in experiencing something new which also aims to improve upon the weaknesses of current play centres. A SWOT analysis had also been used; this displayed more strengths then weaknesses and more opportunities then there are threats. The author would suggest this is a strong sign for the business venture.
