This report has been compiled to assess the feasibility and requirements of establishing an old fashion homemade sweet kitchen and shop within the grounds of Tredegar House Newport, with a viewing gallery for visitors providing the unique opportunity to experience the confectionary making process. A series of objectives have been compiled in order to achieve the aim these are: 1. To carry out a comprehensive literature review 2. To carry out primary and secondary research 3. Produce a business plan 4. Produce an accurate three year financial forecast for the business. 5. Evaluate the business plan and suggest recommendations for the future of the business. Comprehensive market research has been conducted and the main findings from this are that 89% of respondents eat sugar confectionary and the price customers are willing to pay per bag is between £3-£4.
