dc.description.abstractThere has been limited research into the assessment of power aspects during treadmill sprinting due to the lack of a universally accepted protocol or reliable data collection system. The system designed for this study and the protocol utilized in this paper allowed the reliable and accurate determination of power output during treadmill sprinting. The results from this study have allowed the physiological demands of multiple sprint sports to be more accurately determined in a controlled laboratory environment. Tong was involved in the study design, data collection and analysis and in writing the manuscript.en_US
