Abstract
This enterprise project was produced to analyse the feasibility of opening a catering business that offers two different catering services. This project will outline the main factors that are more common to affected the planning process of the business as well as the decisions made by the author with regards to the processes and methods undertaken. The author decided on this form of a business as it is a different but the author has have experience in the hospitality industry. The aim and the objectives of this Enterprise Project can be found in section 1.3 in the introduction. The secondary research conducted identified that the catering business for parties and dinner parties is becoming more and more popular with Cardiff population. The primary research conducted identified a demand for a catering business especially dinner parties catering. The SWOT and PEST analysis that was conducted identified Cardiff and the surrounding cities to be a suitable location for a catering business. The business Emma's Catering will be managed by Emma Shuffley and will trade as a Limited Private Company. The completion of this enterprise project has displayed a demand for a catering business to operate mainly in Cardiff aswell as the surrounding cities and has demonstrated that opening such a business is financially feasible. The business is expected to be successful and provide increasing profits within the first three years.
