Abstract
This paper presents an approach for determining subject-specific parameter values for elastic properties in the human body and arose from work undertaken in Wilson’s PhD. The determination of parameter values is required to produce a subject-specific model of the human body for use in simulating sports performance where the subject-specific nature of the model is necessary to enable model evaluation. Wilson was responsible for the data collection and analysis and produced the first draft of the paper.
