dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research study is to investigate how peer learning can have an impact on students’ engagement in the dance technique class, using second year dance students from a university in the UK. The research design aimed to investigate how the Dance Buddy Scheme used at this university manifested itself in the students’ learning experience in the technique class, and qualitative research methods were used to gather and interpret the data collected. The findings indicate a positive effect on students’ engagement in the dance technique class shedding light on the importance of collaborative learning and the development of critical thinking in Higher Education.en_US
