A Study to Evaluate the Feasibility of Establishing a Boutique Camping Retreat in Pembrokeshire Wales

The project looks at the feasibility of setting up a successful boutique camping retreat, in the popular tourism destination Pembrokeshire Wales. Boutreat provides luxury self –service accommodation; two wood built chalets and four yurts. In addition the retreat hosts a spa-pool which acts as a unique selling point along with the location. Thus, the retreat should appeal to a significant domestic tourism market; those with interest in wellness and luxury holidays within the ABC1 bracket. Enterprise Project Objectives: • To conduct an accurate and insightful literature review which indicates feasibility of the business concept. • To conduct in depth market research through primary and secondary methods to confirm an established market for the product and to gain insight into the markets wants and needs. From the results to make changes where necessary. • To consider and understand and adhere to all legal and planning requirements involved with the setting up of a boutique camping retreat in Pembrokeshire. • To develop a business plan which demonstrates the feasibility of the business concept The study uses a literature review and primary research to lead into the business plan which is then discussed and evaluated to realise business viability. The business plan will include a detailed market analysis, a contingency plan, as well as a full three year financial forecast which can be found in the appendices.
