The aim of this project was to assess the feasibility of setting up "Sublime Sports Travel Ltd", an online Sports Travel Company aimed at the Over Fifties market. The reasons for choosing this type of business were down to the authors love for both sport and travel. This and the fact family friends who are in the Over Fifty age bracket all use the Internet and like to travel to away sporting fixtures. The Project looked at all the essential elements that are required when setting up a business. This included, primary research, market study, competitor analysis, marketing plan, financial forecasting, legal issues that are involved and all forms of the business operations. From the secondary research and competitor analysis that was conducted the author found out that that no company offers organised away travel for Professional Club Rugby, therefore leaving "Sublime Sports Travel Ltd" with a competitive advantage. The primary research that was conducted backed up the initial competitor analysis and showed that people would use the service if it were available. Due to the gap in the market and the financial forecasts that have been undertaken, the author feels that this would be a viable business idea and will change how people view travelling to away sports matches.
