This project forms the basis of accessing the feasibility of setting up an online children party planning business in Bristol and surrounding areas. The project aims to provide an insight into literature around this subject, a market study, a business plan and feasibility. Within the project an aim with many objectives were set to ensure the above was achieved. First was to conduct a literature review viewing the current children’s party planning market, online processes and small business venture. Then to undertake primary and secondary research, as well as the literature review, 50 questionnaires were collected and four focus groups were carried out. Along with convert research into 4 competitor businesses. Financial forecasts were then formulated to access profitability of business. Then all this research was analysed to produce a well thought out business plan. Finally all evidence gathered was used to draw conclusions on business and make recommendations for the future and if the project was to be redone. All research conducted aims to meet all needs of high earning, full time working /guardian’s needs by being an easy online service where they can pick and choose from handpicked suppliers creating a package for a set price. They can choose from a venue, entertainment, theme designer and set menus then add extras such as invites, thank you cards and party bags topping it all off with on the day help If required. The online service is free to use for customers with the business making money from mark ups and commission added to outsourced suppliers. If help is required on the day this also comes at a set price. Overall, after three years of trading Little Party Wishes will become a high trafficked website with a wealth of suppliers on database, producing leading children’s parties.
