The aim of this project is to set up a bespoke wedding planning service for UK residents who wish to get married abroad in the South of Spain and Gibraltar. This will facilitate a variety of different packages for the customer to choose from and will contain each element of a wedding day. They can then pick and choose certain elements to create their perfect wedding day. This will be done by determining specific objectives regarding the proposed project. The project was completed against the six main objectives to ensure that each element of the business was carefully considered to achieve the overall aim. Thorough market research was completed in order to gain in-depth information regarding the business environment and whether the plan would be feasible via a three year financial forecast. Primary research was undertaken in the form of three semi-structured interviews as-well as 100 questionnaires. Secondary research was also conducted with the use of academic books, journals, relevant website resources and statistical report sources. The project concludes with a discussion, an analysis and a number of recommendations of each area of the proposed business. The aims and objectives were used as a point of reference so that the business’ predictions could be measured against research in which clearly detailed the potential for a successful business opportunity.
