The enterprise project aims to evaluate the feasibility of establishing a corporate events planning company. Its core aim to cover the corporate events industry raising funds for charities and the local community in South-west England. From this aim 'Doo:nation events' was formed. To support the aim, objectives were drawn up and included analytically reviewing the literature on the methodology of business planning, corporate events and event fundraising, completing primary research in the form of questionnaires, examining the legal and financial aspects of business start up, producing a business plan with 3 years of financial forecasts, and evaluating the business plan making recommendations for the future. Extensive secondary research was undertaken using current and relevant literature. The following areas were looked into; Entrepreneurship, business start-up, business planning and formation structure, the corporate events market in the current economy, Corporate engagement with charities, legal issues and event planning. Primary research was in the form of questionnaires to 50 businesses in the Bristol area which backed up primary research, showing the business idea was feasible and the unique selling point would give the business a competitive advantage. Market research highlighted that 78% of participants were interested in the USP, proving it attractiveness, with the majority of participants wanting Christmas events organised. Experience through university and 9 years in the events industry helped the researcher complete the business plan. The researcher utilised a mixture Business Link, Venture Wales and Barclays Business plan templates to create an overall plan tailored to the business. Sections include; Executive Summary, Mission Statement, Trading status, Premises, Business aims and objectives, Human recourses, Recruitment, Operations, Legal requirements, Service Description, Service, Market Research, Marketing and financial aspects. Finally a clear set of future recommendation were identified. These included implementing team building event and venturing into the bespoke event market
