This project proposed the comparison of models and different styles of HRM in Japan and Bulgaria in order to identify differences with Bulgarian practices and see whether companies in Bulgaria (Japanese) could eventually adopt respective business philosophies and management styles or rely on local practices and trends. The purpose is to learn and gain inspirations from East and imply them to current changes in human resources management and show companies how to build up valuable corporate culture and reduce staff turnover. The main reason for the research is to develop and propose suggestions as to how Bulgarian branches of international corporations could best make use of foreign human resources practices in order to reform and revolutionize their own HRM. Origin, history and cultural differences will be critically analyzed.
