dc.description.abstractThe present study provides a comprehensive examination of the Romanian tourists’ inflow in Bulgarian seaside resorts. It reviews the profile of the tourist and the factors, which influence his purchase decision. A more detailed analysis, including comparison between Romanian and Bulgarian seaside accommodation facilities, is comprised. Rational explication of the facts and supportive theses are applied. The purpose of the research is to extract the most valuable reasons, which attract the second biggest international tourist market in destination Bulgaria. Four objectives were developed, together with the main goal. The general knowledge, derived from the study, will be able to support the business and practically maintain the competitiveness of Bulgarian seaside tourism. The reviewed literature supports the acknowledgements of the research and addresses its critical notes to the business and state’s managing structures. Inductive approach is at the basis of the applied methodology. One of the most essential tasks is the precise sampling, which the present work purposefully aimed. Primary and secondary findings are discussed in the following analysis. Results are dissected by the use of econometric tools. The research includes some delicate qualitative data, which was obtained by in-depth interviews. Psychological issues are also analyzed but they are not subject of explicit investigations. Due to the specified topic, a more comprehensive study was not conducted. Conclusions are based on the spectrum of all beneficial practices and implementations. Additional investigating possibilities are recommended, marking the reasonable potential of future development of the researched issues.en_US
