What this research is trying to investigate is the motivation and satisfaction of young Bulgarian employees working in the IT sector. This is one very important topic to be examined because it shows which job motivation factors are perceived as important form the sample and also how well they are satisfied. By revealing the results of the research it becomes evident that differences between the two dimensions are apparent which can partly explain why so big portion of the young Bulgarian IT graduates migrate to work abroad. Also the information of the survey may help to some managers readjust practices and characteristics of the job. The data needed for the research is primary that is compared to already collected secondary and explanations according to the main theories examined in the literature review are made. For my research I have used a deductive research approach so that I could test my hypotheses and then make analysis. The needed data that was quantitative and was mostly gathered from few big IT companies operating in the Bulgarian market by using close ended questionnaires. The sample consisted from around 110 participants in the age between 18 and 35. The fourth chapter of the research consists of charts visually representing the results from the primary and secondary research. On the basis of the scores of the two types and the statements of the theories the analysis is constructed. And in the last part of the dissertation conclusions are made so that answers to the research questions are given and the objectives of the survey are met. Also some recommendations are given for the managers of the Bulgarian IT companies in which areas they should emphasize and make adjustments so that proper motivators are used and of course satisfied.
