The motivation of Bulgarian internet users to participate in business oriented crowdsourcing activities
In order to be competitive in the market, each company should be aware of the new global trends. This is valid especially when it comes to the introduction of modern technologies that can facilitate the process of interaction between customers and the product brand. Due to the invasion of the Internet, the generation of fresh business ideas has a new concept. The act of crowdsourcing is an approximately innovative way for knowledge and talent usage. The trends for its development are to become a common practice in a variety of areas, for which in the past were used only the skills and competences of proven professionals. The objective of this master thesis is to investigate, whether the application of crowdsourcing techniques explores feasibility in Bulgaria. My idea is to give an insight to this new activity emerging by marketing experts all over the world. But what is more important, it was tried to find out what the reasons are that motivate users to participate in such a type of events. In order to find detailed answers to the posed research questions, a face to face research was conducted in the capital of the country. The respondents are various people from the society that hopefully expressed their honest opinion about past experience in the social networks and the factors that obscure the decision to do something that is neither in their professional field, nor their business obligation. Last but not least, the awareness for the meaning of the term crowdsourcing was examined. For a better presentation, the collected data was calculated statistically and delivered in graphs. The preparation of the analysis was realised by gathering secondary data as well.
