Examining individual perceptions of sport and leisure as an assessment of the facilities/club provided in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan

Analysis within the present study examined individual perceptions of sport and leisure activities along with an assessment of the facilities provided in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan. krdividual perceptions of leisure facilities and sports clubs were determined by administering a questionnaire to sporting participants within the Cowbridge area. Assessment of the main objectives was obtained using a self-administered style questionnaire which consisted of thirteen questions in total, eleven closed questions and two open-ended. Results revealed that perceptions of sport and leisure were largely influenced by age and socio-economic groupings and that sport and leisure facilities were rated as either poor or inadequate. Recommendations for future improvements of sport and leisure facilities/clubs within the Cowbridge area were also determined.
