Discovering the feasibility of setting up a traditional, international themed tea house within Cardiff City Centre was the aim of this enterprise project. To support this aim, tasks were concluded through objectives that looked at analysing, comparing and contrasting relevant literature surrounding entrepreneurial business, researching the current tea and coffee industries and collecting statistical figures regarding the student population of Cardiff. Market research was carried out to further discover if this business idea was one that was realistic and achievable with today's target markets. This was performed through primary research via questionnaires and focus groups that gathered suggestions and statistics regarding potential interest in the business idea. Secondary research included looking at levels of international consumers, the predicted growth in wealth for these groups and the consumer trends of these groups with the tea industry. A business plan document was compiled using the corresponding research, whereby appropriate suppliers were sourced, a suitable location chosen, branding materials were produced and financial forecasts were made. Each aspect of the business plan is built upon credible information to give a realistic outlook on its potential success. Potential future developments were also devised - these were based upon reflection of the overall business plan and by acknowledging areas that may enhance the business concept in the future.
