An analysis for the feasibility of setting up a travel agent specialising in ski holidays within Pembrokeshire

The aim of this project was to critically assess the travel industry and to identify the feasibility of creating a specialised tour operator for the ski industry, which could potentially become national and international. The aim will look to also bring in a clothing aspect in to the business after year 1.Firstly the project looked at the feasibility of the project by critically analysing the literature related to the business. To go with the literature review, the author has initiated primary research, conducted through questionnaires and interviews. Research was used to help base the business plan that is located in section 3. The business plan covers all the operations which the business would conduct, the products it would offer,a marketing strategy, management and personnel,the future of the business and a financial report for the business.The author will conclude the business plan by critically assessing the findings from the market research and the feasibility of Peak Clothing & Travel as a business model. This part of the project will address the issue of whether both the objectives set out and the aim has been met.To finally conclude,the author has made recommendations, which he would change if the project were to be produced again. The project will refer to Peak Clothing& Travel as the business name, but the business will operate as Peak Travel or Peak Clothing when selling to the two different types of markets.
