Abstract
This project has been designed with the aim of evaluating the feasibility of setting up a mobile cocktail bar within South Wales. With the project in mind a series of objectives were created to achieve this aim such as; conducting primary and secondary market research, 3 years of financial forecasting and limitations of the business with recommendations. The Managing Director of Cocktail Campervan has had experience working within nightclub, bar and events industries, showing a background knowledge into this business field. After noticing an increase in the popularity of cocktails at weddings Cocktail Campervan realized the lack of stylish cocktail bars available for weddings, showing a gap in the market. Cardiff Metropolitan University has given the Managing Director of Cocktail Campervan a high level of knowledge and experience within the events industry and has provided her with confidence and a realistic approach to providing a sustainable business plan. By identifying direct and indirect competitors to Cocktail Campervan in that there are no campervans that serve personalised cocktails within Pembrokeshire, despite there being a select few mobile cocktail bars in the area. Also from the primary market research Cocktail Campervan has started engaging with the intended initial target audience of weddings, brides and grooms. This shows that Cocktail Campervan is a unique business venture and has the potential to success and expand within this market.
