dc.description.abstract | This purpose of this research was to gather and analyse evidence concerning the use of computers within primary school education. The study analyses the benefits and the negatives of using computers within such organisations. Teacher’s personal views and opinions are used within the study as means of enhancing the researcher’s findings. Primary research consisted of Interviews and Questionnaires. These were conducted within a Primary School in the Rhondda Cynon Taff area. This provided the researcher with insightful knowledge of how computers are used within education and the effects it has on pupils. The researcher also analysed if improvements are needed to the technology currently in place within the organisation. Secondary research consisted of books, journals and articles. Literature related to the subject area was analysed, which helped with the overall outcome of this research. The outcome concluded from the research is that overall computers do have a positive effect on pupils learning experience. However the emphasis based on using computers needs to be monitored, as over-use can become an issue and pupils may lose social interaction skills. | en_US |
