The aim of this project was to develop a mobile booking system application for use within the Learning and Development department of the National Assembly for Wales. The rationale for the project came from a perceived need for an upgraded booking system following the observation of discrepancies within the current booking system. A literature review was conducted using various sources of information. Market comparison were undertaken and various programming languages and software packages were reviewed. Primary research was undertaken within the National Assembly for Wales in order to assess the requirements for the application and to consider end users‘ views on functionality. Following a review of development methodologies, a model driven evolutionary prototyping methodology was used to develop a prototype of the application. This was then taken in to the National Assembly for Wales in order to gauge end user feedback. Comments were gathered and feedback was used to make improvements which led to the development of prototype 2.0. Many of the original user requirements were included in the prototype. Limitations and future recommendations have been discussed within the conclusion.en_US
