Abstract
The purpose of this project is to highlight the need for developing a mobile app and highlight the work stages of the development process. This app is specially designed to help the new students at Cardiff Metropolitan University (CMU) and the visitors of Cardiff city navigating around. Many new students, especially the international students, find some difficulties locating places and services. This report will show how this app was designed and developed to help them to navigate around and find the place that they are targeting inside the university campus; such as buildings, colleges, and facilities and in Cardiff city such as restaurants, bars, worship places, landmarks, train stations and more. The app will include maps, contact details, blackboard, timetable, social media, buses, taxis, and the most usable applications; such as, google app, social media, emergency contact numbers, CMU departments, just eat app and many more. Author will seek participation from people at the CMU and out in the town through questionnaire targeting fifty participants, and face to face interviews with another fifty participant. The author will share the investigation on this project through Microsoft Excel and analysis and discuss the outcomes with other literature reviews. At the end, author will make a conclusion that summarizes the outcomes of this project and make some recommendations.
